Thanks to a series of early snowstorms and advanced snowmaking equipment, two resorts will open this weekend.

Squaw Valley will celebrate with an early opening this Friday, November 16th. Scheduled lifts include Exhibition, Red Dog, Resort at Squaw Creek and FirstVenture. Look for part of the upper mountain to open by Thanksgiving.

Sugar Bowl opens Saturday with a 18″-26″base, offering skiing and riding from the top of Lincoln to the bottom of Knob Hill.

Boreal is now open daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. with 2 lifts running.
