A light dusting of snow hit the Sierras this morning, then moved south. While Southern California is receiving above average snowfall, the Tahoe resorts have their snowmaking machines working overtime to provide ample terrain for holiday skiing and snowboarding. The forecast for the holiday week remains dry, with light snow possible next Thursday.
