College students, active duty military and Furloughed CA State Employees can ski/board for $15 on Fridays with a valid ID.

Learn with the Ladies Clinic
One and two day camp for women only who want to improve their skiing and snowboarding skills and take it to the next level. Each day clinic includes a morning yoga session, 4 hours of on-the-snow training with Sugar Bowl’s top female instructors, lunch, wine tasting & massages. $190 per person.

Olympic Heritage Celebration at Squaw Valley USA
Ski the Olympic downhill course led by local Olympians. Saturday will feature the women’s tour at 10 am and 1 pm. Sunday will feature the men’s tour at 10 am and 1 pm.

Star gazing snowshoe tour at Northstar
This 2 to 2.5 hour tour lead by star guide and poet Tony Berendsen will lead you through a variety of trails. The tour will include a laser tour, telescope viewing, wine and hot cider around one of our fire pits. Dogs on leashes are welcome. details

Winter Trail Day at Kirkwood
Free snowshoe demo day hosted by REI. Try out the latest snowshoes or attend a seminar on avalanche safety, beacon use and GPS introduction. Kirkwood will also be offering a free mini beginning ski lesson including rentals. Reservations required.
Learn to ski and ride week at Diamond Peak
Learn to ski or ride for just $29. Includes group lesson, rental equipment and beginner lift ticket. Lessons are at 10 am and 2 pm.
