Powder report

Altitude has its perks. Mount Rose, with a base elevation of 8260, received 35"-45" of snow over the weekend, raising the base to 38"-65". The Rose side and Slide bowl are open with fresh powder and machine groomed packed powder.

Homewood to open Thanksgiving weekend

Christmas has come early to the Tahoe resorts. Snow is forecast throughout the weekend, giving the resorts a nice base for the Thanksgiving holiday.
