It’s a great time to be a kid at Squaw Valley’s annual Kid-O-Rama extravaganza. This 8 day event starts today and runs through Saturday, February 23. Kid-O-Rama offers fun for all ages. Alpine Meadows has always been one of my favorite resorts in Tahoe. For me, it has just the right mix of terrain, amenities, fast lifts, close parking, easy access and customer service. It also had affordable lift ticket prices – until now. $15 lift tickets, $25 learn to ski and more this weekend

If you’re looking for a reprieve from holiday shopping, this may be the perfect weekend for a trip to Tahoe. Boreal will offer 12 hours of skiing or boarding for $15 on Friday.
