Get in the holiday spirit at Mt. Rose’s annual Santa Ski Crawl. Dress up as Old St. Nick, an elf or other holiday garb, and ski all day for $39. Opening dates for Tahoe resorts

With snow in the forecast today through Saturday, resort openings are right around the corner. Boreal has been open on and off for a couple of weeks, but is currently closed until further notice. Skiing Mt. Rose

Last week I decided to avoid the President’s Week crowds at the big resorts and drove up to Mt. Rose, located 11 miles above Incline Village. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived.
