This weekend’s full moon and predicted clear skies offer a rare opportunity to take a serene moonlit snowshoe tour at two of Tahoe’s finest resorts.

At Northstar, take a 2+ hour guided tour through a mountain setting on Saturday that ends at ther snowshoe center for some live acoustic music, s’mores and hot chocolate around a fire pit. $40 adult 13+, $25 age 10-12. Reservations recommended.

At Kirkwood, take a two hour trek through the resorts unique setting atop the Sierra Crest on snowshoes under the full moon. Tours are $25 (+ $5 snowshoe rental if needed) and run Saturday from 6-8 pm. Reservations required.
