Boreal Mountain Resort starts their 2011/12 season today. Yesterday’s storm brought 8″ – 10″ of new snow on the mountain. Snow making is in full swing, with a current base of 6″ – 12″ for today’s opening. Runs are limited to the Castle Peak Quad, with more terrain opening as snow making and natural snowfall allows.

Boreal will be open 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily starting tomorrow.
